[Everyone] [External] Tree Trimming/Removal Project

Thanks! The 2 oaks along the drive and closest to our house need to be trimmed right away. One was trimmed back away from our sky light last time but it is now completely covered again - dropping large branches and extremely loud small ones full of acorns. Please let us know if any others have trees in need of trimming.

Hi all-

Sarah and I worked on this last time. I’m happy to support this effort again, but would appreciate help identifying areas of concern.

We previously got bids from King Tree, which was pretty high at $5000, and Best Price Tree Service, which was competitively priced at $1700. I believe Rosamund had another place in mind at the time; I could follow up with them instead of King.  I welcome other suggestions if anyone has strong opinions.

Greetings to all.

It has been brought to my attention that some limbs or trees on the property need to be trimmed or removed and replaced. This is a project that goes beyond the scope of the ongoing but limited agenda of the Landscape Committee. So I am asking for a volunteer (or two) to take on this project as part of the ongoing contribution to the self-management of CP HOA.

This project should involve contacting professionals to survey the property to make recommendations and provide estimates of cost for recommended work. At least two companies should be contacted.

The recommendations, including specific items and their costs, should be submitted to me. After consultation with other officers, I'll communicate final recommendations and project details to all CP HOA owners.

I remind all how important it is that all of us understand and appreciate that the work of managing CP falls to all of us, not one or two individuals. Until management arrangements are changed we should all act responsibly and with a sense of neighborliness.
