[Everyone] Cherry tree at 410/412

Hi y'all, it has been brought to my attention that the cherry tree has been
cut down to the ground in front of 410/412.
Robert and I recently pruned it to restore some balance and maybe save what
was left of it, but today our realtor saw that it is suddenly completely
gone.

Does anyone have any idea who/why?
I realize the tree was not completely healthy, and I know that there is
foliage trimming going on by the power companies, but I didn't receive any
communication about this...

Any info anyone could provide will be appreciated.
