Hi neighbors-

Apologies in advance for adding to our email blitz since yesterday, but it's for a good surprise (I think). In my storm prep anxiety, I did some baking to alleviate stress, and now I find myself with too many treats. I just left a little bag of brownies either on your doorstep or in your garage mailbox, if you have one.

These are applesauce brownies, which are basically box mix brownies that replace oil/butter with applesauce. I tell myself they are "healthy." I will not be offended if you throw them away or give them to someone else, but I hope it's a nice surprise for at least some of you. (Mel/Molly- I did not leave any at your addresses as I know you're not actually there. Forgive me. I owe you at next in-person meeting.)
