[Everyone] Injured Owl

Hi Neighbors-

There is an injured owl right outside the gate on the right hand side of my
townhouse. He's not in our driveway, and is relatively sheltered, so you
are not in danger of running over it. It appears to be conscious and unable
to move. I wanted to keep you all apprised of efforts to assist it, as I
know many of you will see it as you start to leave your homes today and
will be concerned.

I have contacted AWARE, a wildlife rescue org. They open at 10 AM, so I
hope they are in touch with me shortly after that.
I also have a friend in wildlife rescue who is reaching out to her
community to see if anyone is available for raptor rescue.
I'm continuing to research other resources.

I'll keep you all updated. For now, just be aware. If you have a dog, I
would suggest trying not to walk past my townhouse with it until the
situation is resolved.
