[Everyone] Power Main

Not sure that what I gathered from a conversation with the Georgia Power
guy and the engineer (contractor) today will be of help, but here is what I
gleaned from a short conversation with them:

They are needing to lay cable for main power lines. The lines that serve us
are both old and go over the bridge, which is not okay.

I got the sense that it wasn't a choice thing but a need thing.

He said they'd start in a week or two, and that people would be notified.
But he also said that they couldn't notify homeowners unless they are
signed up to receive notifications, only the HOA rep because the FCC
otherwise considers it soliciting. He mentioned that he had not heard back
from Dave, so they may be trying to reach Dave.

This is a Georgia Power job, though they are contracting some of the work
out, so it might be best to start with the GP guy who gave Lauren his card
(he said he gave it to the HOA secretary, but from Lauren's email maybe
that is what he meant, unless Maryann also spoke to him).  I suspect that
is where questions will end up anyway

They will be digging, and probably will rip up the driveway in a spot or
two (specifically right in front of Maryann's place). They will repair it
and put it back as close to the original as possible. They said it might
take a week.
