Happy New Year to all! I hope all of you are safe and doing well at the
beginning of the year.

I write to inform you about a proposal (see below) for the upgrade and
beautification of Chelsea Place by the Landscape Committee.

It has received my support and the support of (the majority of) the HOA
officers.

The proposal squares with my view and the view of others that we ought
always be open to projects that enhance the beauty and value of and our
safe experiences in our common spaces.

Unless opposition to it is communicated, I would like to propose moving
forward with the committee's proposal.

I express on behalf of CP HOA appreciation to Sara and Rosamond for their
time commitment and work on our behalf.

Vincent L Wimbush

Dear Vincent,
We, the Landscape Committee, write to put before you a proposal for the
next phase of landscape beautification of Chelsea Place. We are sending it
to you first, knowing that the officers and perhaps all HOA members may be
need to be engaged. Please note that this is a time-sensitive matter.

As you may remember, we hatched a phased plan in the late summer to
gradually remove the old, woody azaleas that lined the driveway facing
Units 338-340. We projected it would take Mr. Ringer some months to
complete this project. He recently did so. Phase two would be to add a
number of landscape boulders.

Yesterday (12/28/23), we went to Atlanta Landscape Materials (ALM) on
Buford Highway to select and price the boulders. Please see attached
photos (which really don't give you a sense of scale or shape,
unfortunately). Suffice to say that they are quite large and gorgeous, and
we feel that they will really dress up the entrance into our complex, with
no upkeep required.

Cost? From the invoice, the total costs (including $175 delivery, boulder
placement, and taxes) clock in at $1,064.99. Sara has purchased a number of
landscape boulders in her capacity as a master gardener over the years, and
feels confident about the quality and the price.

We are really excited about this purchase to beautify Chelsea Place, and we
are writing to obtain your approval for purchase of landscape boulders.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns *by January 5th,
2024.* We need to be in touch with Atlanta Landscape Materials by then
to confirm purchase.

See below for photos and the invoice. Thanks for your attention to this
matter.
Sara and Rosamond
