While Vincent's characterization is harsh, he is essentially correct. As I
told him yesterday, since both of my parents have contracted COVID-19, the
unexpected non-COVID related death in our family and being short handed at
work which has necessitated longer hours for me, I find that I don't have
the time or energy to dedicate to the needs of the HOA. I asked him if he
would consider allowing me to step down and him step up as president.
I understand his hesitation at this time to assume the role of president.
However, if I am to continue in the role, I am going to need some help. I
have little time left in the day after work and dealing with my parents.
I agree with Vincent, as a self-managed HOA, we all need to be involved,
and I am more than willing to continue to be involved. However, at this
point in time, my bandwidth is extremely limited.
Dave
