Finally, I heard fom the mason today  (been trying to schedule him since last fall) and he is coming this afternoon to rpair the stone work nearest Janis' home.  He is coming this afternoon.  I told him that $150 was a fair price.  Sarah, since you are working, I'll give Melvin Holloman a personal check and will put a copy of the chrck and receipt in your mailbox for reimbursement.

Saturday afternoon Rosamond and I were walking around the common area to discuss landscape improvements.  We noticed the two varigated Chinese prevets next to #410 were near dead.  I stopped by Pike's yesterday and picked up 2 camillias to replace the shrubs; so, the landscape total cost is niw around $550.
