Well, we can scratch the painter recommended by my daughter. By his quotes, he was either in la la land, or imagined that he was in NY City or Tokyo.  Here are a few examples from his estimate:  #408 - $4,800; #406 - $4,080 (did not even include back decks as I had requested); #410 - $3,800, excludes decks, and# 338 - $3,900, excludes decks.  Needless to say, his estimates are headed for the trash.  I have contacted CertraPro Painters and am awaiting their estimates; also, I contacted Efrain Lopez, who painted many of our units a few years back.  He is coming on Saturday to give estimates.  Please let me know if you can recommend a good painting company.  Lauren, I never heard from your guy.
