I thought it in several respects was a very productive meeting. I appreciated the honest and constructive engagement on the part of all in attendance. (Thanks again to Sara for her hospitality.)</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">I am writing to follow up on the minutes. (Thanks to Maryann for stepping in as secretary/recorder of the deliberations.) There are a few matters that need elaboration so that our expectations are clear.) And I also want to propose a date for our next meeting.</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div>First, two Ad Hoc committees were established:</div><div><br></div><div>---Molly and Ron agreed to constitute a ByLaws Draft committee--to work on and submit to us for consideration draft statements to change or be added to ByLaws. These statements should provide protocols for the enforcement of all rules and regulations for the HOA--especially in re: rental of units, individual owner upkeep of property, and so forth.</div><div><br></div><div>---Rosamond and Jordan agreed to constitute a committee to inspect structural damages, specifically, the bridge between #406 and #410. A structural engineering company was referenced and should be contacted for inspection and recommendations. Other locations may also be inspected. </div><div> <br></div><div>Second, individuals volunteered to help with ongoing issues: </div><div><br></div><div>---As part of the Landscape Committee report, Rosamond agreed to follow up with the City of Decatur about the broken and sinking sidewalk in front of the property. </div><div><br></div><div>---Dave agreed to look into the matter of the presence of a groundhog near the driveway fence.</div><div><br></div><div>As progress is made on these matters before our next meeting, the committees and individuals should communicate with me.</div><div><br></div><div>Third, the next HOA Meeting. There was a sense of agreement that we need to meet next in October. With preference for Sunday. So I am recommending Sunday October 13 as the first choice. (Sunday October 6 as second choice). 7pm. Please mark your calendars and do your best to make attendance at this meeting a priority. If communication indicates that a majority can make the proposed date I'll confirm in due course. </div><div><br></div><div>Thanks for your cooperation.
