<div dir="ltr">During the meeting I didn't say anything, but it was mentioned then that there was not any opposition to the idea that we need to put up a fence even though there were two dissenting opinions. Sarah Collins mentioned the cost and another opinion was put forward that the person just didn't see the inherent danger. I agree with both of these points and am therefore putting my dissent in writing so that it won't be ignored.<div><br></div><div>What is the terrible danger of the creek? I understand that there is a hill and yes, there could be and probably are snakes around the creek. It's Georgia and it's a creek. That should be understood by anyone going near the creek. It's certainly understood by me and I have no issue with my daughter playing in and around the creek. If you see her there and feel the need to say something, please come talk to either me or Sarah. She doesn't do it much any more, but she has in the past and she felt embarrassed and bullied by adults telling her that she couldn't do something that her parents had already told her that she could do. </div><div><br></div><div>I've heard mention of sewage in the creek. This is less than ideal and is certainly possible, but that's part of what creeks do, they carry away run off. People up stream could be actively putting things in the water, I agree, but I don't think anyone is going down there intending to drink the water and again, it's Georgia and it's a creek. </div><div><br></div><div>I understand from the neighborhood that there is a general dislike of the residents that live here because of the attitude that has been shown to neighbors in the past. I believe that a fence further insulates and removes us from the community. Honestly, if there's not a gate on the driveway and by the path, I really don't see what purpose a fence solves in the first place. I believe that the general sentiment is already well known in the neighborhood that residents here don't want people on the property. I personally disagree with that sentiment and I would like for my disagreement to be registered and noted. </div><div><br></div><div>I have not come here to cast blame or to call anybody out. I simply wanted my opinion on the matter to be known by the whole community</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Wed, Jun 3, 2020 at 4:11 PM Vincent Wimbush via Everyone <<a href="mailto:everyone@chelseaplacedecatur.com">everyone@chelseaplacedecatur.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex">FYI—<br>
